Why should you check out these books? The Lift-the-Flap Questions and Answers series of books by Usborne Books & More is amazing! These books are an excellent non-fiction option for your little ones; they enjoy lifting the multiple flaps on each page.
Who is this book for? This series is intended for children 4+. There is also a series that would be perfect for 2-4 year olds. Check it out here.
What will your children learn about in these books? With over 10 titles in this series, there is sure to be something for everyone (animals, art, dinosaurs, space, food, world, nature)!
How can you work on speech and language with these books? Every page has a different type of question asked (i.e., ‘what’ on one page, ‘why’ on another) so your child is bombarded with the same type of question. The answer is given under the flap, so after asking each question, the child is able to try to answer it before lifting the flap! These books use appropriate vocabulary for children 4-8; while they are exposed to new words, they are able to understand what they are reading.
