I LOVE that kids as young as 2 are able to choose the characters, setting, and events in this fantasy story through simply pointing to the different pictures! I LOVE the questions the author asks on every page. They include simple, concrete questions (i.e., Who did you choose?) as well as more challenging, abstract questions. A variety of what, where, when questions are asked. The author uses very descriptive words throughout and also challenges the readers to answering questions . I also LOVE that the story is different every time you read it; as it says on the cover of the book, there are a GAZILLION story combinations!
